Dash is not free, you will have to purchase Dash using an In-App purchase. Dash is free to download so that you can test Dash out as much as you want, in order to determine if it’s the right tool for you.

The decision to release an API was partially out of necessity, but also because I’m curious to see how people will use it.

Here’s my idea, which I’m happy to see someone else implement: A service that notifies you whenever a keyword is used in a thread, either only by OP or by anyone.

The US Census Bureau has long been a destination for public data — but up until now, accessing that data was mainly a matter of downloading files — CSVs, spreadsheets, or database files.  If you wanted to make an app based on it, you couldn’t automatically get changes when the data was updated — you downloaded new files and updated your app on your own.  

Now the Census Bureau has an API.  While you can still download files, you can also write apps that request current information from the Census Bureau directly over the web in response to what users are doing or asking for within your app.

After releasing Pulp a couple of days ago, I figured I would use it to build a small demo application, and I also figured that this application should be a Thing I Want To Use.

So, in the spirit of small, simple tools that solve my everyday problems, I made a little web interface for querying REST APIs that supports multiple request methods, custom headers, HTTP Basic Auth and, of course, passing custom parameters.

Since launching NPR.org in 1995, NPR has amassed a library of award-winning, interactive media content. This library includes NPR radio programming and other features that, until now, have only been available on or through the website.

The content that is available includes audio from most NPR programs dating back to 1995 as well as text, images and other web-only content from NPR and NPR member stations. This archive consists of over 250,000 stories that are grouped into more than 5,000 different aggregations.
